Get to know the wine ward making big waves in the wine world. It’s the Agulhas Wine Triangle – and it’s the newest wine ward in the country, but one that’s making a big impact.
That’s because of our region’s cool-climate, which leads to the intense fruit flavours of the wines (especially the Sauvignon blanc) produced here.
Wineries to visit here include:
– Strandveld Vineyards
– Black Oystercatcher Wines
Other wines from the Agulhas Wine Triangle (look out for these cool-climate wines in retailers around the country):
– The Berrio
– Ghost Corner Wines
– The Giant Periwinkle Enfin Wines
– Lomond Wines
– The Drift Wines
– Dâbar
– Sijnn Wines in Malgas
