Pictured on the Nuwejaars wetlands (and caught on camera trap)

Here’s what we found when we downloaded some of the images from camera traps set up on the Nuwejaars Wetlands Special Management Area…

These traps are situated in our Waskraalvlei area – so the animals you’ll see in these pictures roam across an area of 2,500 hectares of wetlands, grassland and trees.

You’ll also be able to see these animals during our Wildlife Guided Tours.

Look out for:

• Eland
• Buffalo
• Hippo
• Bontebok
• Black Wildebeest
• Waterbuck
• Rau Quagga
• Springbuck
• And a range of smaller antelope, birding species and more secretive mammals.
